How can I be involved?

If you are a Christian, are over 18 and can commit to one evening a month you can become a City Pastor. Or you could be a prayer supporter. Or a financial supporter

All our City Pastors are volunteers and we love to get new people on board, so if you would like to get involved email:

To be involved in this ministry you can become a City Pastor by committing to one evening a month or be a prayer supporter or a financial supporter. If you are interested to volunteer as a city Pastor You will need to attend a compulsory training before you are allowed to go for any patrols in the square mile. Training will be provided and the next training will be notified in our calendar page




Sno Criteria
1 Personal circumstances

a. Between the ages of 18 and 85.
b. A practicing Christian and member of a City church
c. DBS clearance
2 Personal Qualities

a. Approachable, with a willing and helpful attitude towards others
b. Non- Judgmental.
c. Willing to engage with people whatever their perspective on life and wherever they hang out
d. Happy to work in a team and in collaboration with other agencies, both statutory and voluntary
3 Skills and abilities

a. Able to communicate comfortably with people at all levels.
b. To have and display a positive and caring approach to others, whether colleagues or members of the public.
c. Able to keep calm even in the face of provocation.
d. Able to be honest and open about their personal reasons for being involved in the project when asked.
e. Willing and able to share the gospel
4 Commitment

a. All volunteers must undergo induction training and satisfy the Volunteer Specification before being allowed to perform COLPas duties.
b. All volunteers will be expected to attend any additional essential training that may be identified.
c. Volunteers will wear COLPas clothing (which will beprovided), identifying them as Street Pastors, when‘on patrol’
d. A minimum commitment of one night per month is expected
